Kent County Correctional Facility

county-jail · 703 Ball Avenue NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503

When someone you love is being held at the Kent County Correctional Facility in Grand Rapids, the hardest part is feeling like there's nothing you can do. There is, and we can help you do it. We're Bail My Tail, the Butler family's bail agency, started by Gene Butler in 1982 and run today with his son Justin. The Kent County Correctional Facility is at 703 Ball Avenue NE in Grand Rapids and is open 24 hours a day. Once a bond is set at arraignment, you call us, we confirm the amount, and we post a surety bond on your behalf. The cost is the state-regulated 10% premium, and we accept cash, all major credit cards, debit, bank transfer, and payment plans for qualifying clients, so you can move quickly. At this facility, most people are released within 2 to 8 hours of the bond being posted. We take care of the paperwork and stay with you until your loved one is back with family. Grand Rapids is a fair drive from our Flint and Detroit offices, but we post surety bonds statewide across Michigan, so we've got you covered. Call our 24/7 toll-free line at 877-869-8245 any time, and we'll get started bringing your family member home.
